Welcome back everyone! Pitt Knits has some really exciting things planned for this year, including this new snazzy website where you can find all things Pitt Knits! We're kicking off the fall 2016 semester with the Fall Activities Fair at the Petersen Events Center (see below the flier that we'll be handing out while we're there)!
As it says on the flier, our first meeting will be held on September 6th (Tuesday after Labor Day weekend) at 9 pm in the Cathedral of Learning and all are welcome to come and see what Pitt Knits is all about. Bring your friends or your RA...literally anyone, we accept all! If there's something you think we should do as a club, whether it be a fun social event or a service project, let us know through this survey:
Stress Free Zone open knitting and crocheting hour will start up the first day of classes, so we hope to see you there to get to know you better and start off the year strong. The open space will run throughout the fall semester every Monday that the university offices are open from 4-5 pm. And spoiler alert, we may possibly host another weekly stitching circle session...you could help be the deciding factor on when it would be. Hope to see everyone at the activities fair and our first meeting.
Hugs and Stitches,
Shannon Gallagher - Pitt Knits Events Coordinator
