Hey everyone! With only a month left in the semester we hope that you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. We do have a few event reminders for the end of the year! On Saturday April 1st, we will be having a yarn dying party hosted by Steel City Fiber Collective! We'll be dying our own custom skin of yarn in whatever color pattern you may want and at a very reasonable price. The collective is a really cool space, so come check it out! On April 8th, we'll be a vendor at this year's Eurofest in Posvar Hall selling some really nice color work hats, scarves, coffee cozies, etc. and generally promoting the club and its charitable efforts. If you have some spare time, bring your friends and stop by to say hello! We will be making our donation to Jubilee Soup Kitchen on Sunday April 9th, so make sure you finish up your projects for donation by the Friday before and give them to an officer to put in with the donation. Following that, we'll have our final general body meeting on April 10th, which is a destress event before finals. We'll have some tea and little sugar cookies to snack on and relax while we prepare for the stress of the end of the semester and finals week.
In other news, we'd like to provide you all with the information on our completed collabloration with Pitt NSA (Nursing Student Association). In February, we completed 40 baby hats and one baby blanket, which have now been donated to Magee Women's Hospital right in Oakland. Thank you to all of you who dedicated time to such a wonderful project!See you at the GBM!
Hugs and Stitches,
